Par raidījumuThe Digital Baltic Way (C-ITS) with a 5G mobile network - for safer, faster and more comfortable traffic in future. The Baltic States have signed a memorandum of understanding on the development of 5G technologies as part of the Via Baltica project. The project will involve a highway route from Tallinn via Riga and Kaunas on to the border between Lithuania and Poland. The Via Baltica digital corridor will be approximately 600 km long.
Motor vehicles will use the 5G network to communicate with surrounding road infrastructure: Smart traffic lights, Smart road signs and Free parking spots. LMT is proud to participate in establishing the digital way ecosystem in Latvia.
